Magpie & Lothlar: and the Book of Cognomen

It is common knowledge in the Veil that there is a King and Queen for everything. Lothlar, the King of Bogs, and his long-limbed friend Magpie spend a lot of their time chasing slugs and terrorizing their neighbours, but when their housekeeper asks them to look for a few special objects, Magpie and Lothlar find themselves entangled in a whole world of danger. Somewhere in the Veil a dark Queen is stealing the shadows of spiders, and is amassing a terrible army for a dreadful purpose.
