Ryan Gregorian and his team are asked to investigate the accidental drowning of a little boy, Parry Patterson. The team goes through the motions to appease the distraught father, as there is no reason to suspect foul play.
When the forensic evidence confirms that the boy was deliberately drowned, Ryan starts the unpleasant task of interviewing the suspects.
