Egypt, 2488 BC

After decades of constant warfare, Egypt finally has a chance to establish peace with the Hyksos - the most malicious enemy that Egypt has ever fought.

But while peace negotiations are taking place, the leader of a demonic cult plans to take power from the Pharaoh and recommence the war under a reign of tyranny. Motivated by megalomania and implacable hatred for the Pharaoh, this cult leader also plans to descend Egypt into chaos so his demonic cult can become the new 'religion'.

Ranefer is a young, tough, high-achieving warrior-priest from the city of Dendera. Only he can save Egypt from the disaster that is coming.
