What is the difference between a poem, a song, and a story. Nothing significant, I think. These are stories, poems, rememberances, observations, conclusions, analgesics, analyses, songs, and soporifics from my life experience.
I get myself comfortable when I'm near the zone -- sort of meditative, but a lot more lively (you know what I mean)?
Wherever my mind goes, there go I. Wild thoughts, crazy places I've never been. Faces I've never seen -- flashing through my mind, almost at the speed of light.
When finally, serenely arriving into a semi-dreamworld state, then it's rush to the tape recorder, typewriter -- cut, paste, edit and go.
A lot of issues bother me, a lot of words need to be said, even songs to be sung.
I WILL BE HEARD, WE WILL BE HEARD.
