This time they are headed for the largest cattle station in The Territory up on the Barkley Tableland.

Not everyone was fond of Mom and her Yank ways. In fact, the engineer vowed to run her off the station. But Mom didn't tuck tail and run that easily.

As she came through the door, she caught hold of a corn broom and swung it at his retreating backside.
