Back on The Alex once more, Del's mischievous antics put him under a road grader. His injuries require a trip to the Cloncurry Hospital for treatment. The only aircraft on hand for the job is the Governor General's personal RAAF plane.

Sacked for what was termed-disrespect to the Queen - Penny finds a job as second cook at the Mount Isa Mines.

Penny was determined to build a real home even if she had to do it one block at a time.
