The Fascinating History of Astronomy has been written and illustrated by students seven to nine years old. The book includes the origin of the universe, information about galaxies, and constellations and details about our solar system. A short history of famous astronomers and their theories from ancient to modern times follows. There is a short section on space research and a time line showing major advances in space travel. The book continues with a short explanation on Aboriginal astronomy and a description of the link with the seasons followed by the Noongar people of Western Australia. Four Dreamtime stories relating to Astronomy, retold by the students conclude the book.
