Nothing is more painful than walking in a tight pair of stilettos—except

perhaps being wounded by other women. Does our Church journey have to

hurt and cause damage? No!

Let’s put on some fun and fabulous footwear to walk a mile in each other’s

shoes. We’ll meet Stella Stiletto, Fiona Flip-Flop, Nancy Newbie and others

while we explore nine different points of view on a typical Sunday morning. As

the day unfolds, poor communication, misconceptions and secrets result in

unintentional pain being inflicted on themselves and each other. Will truths be

revealed? Will they ever get it right? Will they learn how to walk without

stumbling and tripping?

Interwoven in the stories are quotes from dozens of women around the world

who are experiencing similar struggles. But Soles Defining Souls isn’t just about

other women’s footwear. It’s about what’s on our own feet too. We’ll finish our

journey at The Cobbler’s bench for some much needed cleaning and repairs, and

walk away together, beautifully restored.
