Guide to Source Inspection (Fixed Equipment)

Edif NDE are pleased to publish this industry guide to the Source Inspection of Fixed Equipment (SIFE). The book is intended for inspectors or other individuals involved in the source inspection of new construction of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, fabricated piping and other fixed equipment. Source inspection is a broad technical subject involving a wide variety of technologies and manufacturing capability. Large EPC contracts with multinational manufacture bring their own requirements for co-ordination, specification compliance and the quality of manufacturers. Worldwide, the adoption of ASME, API and EN codes in diverse industries helps to bring a sound technical base to specifications and the activities of source inspection. Edif NDE is well established in the source inspection field and is supportive of the API SIFE programme and examinations. Edif NDE runs API SIFE and SIRE exam training programmes for our own inspectors and clients, with the objective of helping to raise overall inspector competence in the industry.
