The thing about love is that you don't get to choose who you fall in love with or when you fall in love. Most of the time you never see it coming.

Then there are those times when you do see it coming, and even though you try everything in your power to avoid it from happening it still smacks into you like a semi-truck. Just like the way I fell in love with Jason. He was my best friend. My protector. I was perfectly happy with our relationship the way it was. As friends. Until I wasn't.

I was about to learn that sometimes the person you don't want to love is the one you end up falling for the most.

And I fell hard.
