Sensible Grace: Visual Tools for a Better Life

As a pastor I talk about God's grace quite frequently. Grace is the unmerited favor that is available because of God's unconditional love, Jesus' amazing forgiveness and the presence of the Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us in all things spiritual. So often "grace" is seen in only its eternal form. God's grace provides eternal life to those who accept this divine gift.

Sensible Grace, on the other hand, is the grace that comes to us in the form of an insight or "aha" moment when we see a circumstance, situation or relationship in a whole new light. It brings us a sense of relief. An imaginary weight has been lifted. A burden has been taken away. For this insight to happen we often need a catalyst. It may come in the form of a comment from another person, or it may come from doing some analysis on our own.
