When Evelyn Jenkins sets up a booth at Oakland’s Baptist convention, seeking new clients for her travel business, she’s not expecting to end up in the middle of another murder investigation. Or to find herself gazing into a detective’s fine brown eyes.  She never does get to hear the dynamic preacher who has become the talk of the town.
