All while being thrust into a contest of wills with his devious ex-partner, and being stalked by a murderous rival.

With the discovery of a horde of gold and precious stones hidden by an escaped slave of the Spanish Crown, this humorous adventure mystery spins a complex web encompassing Teller and his companions, as well as a group of 15th Century explorers, an ancient Shaman, and a Navajo Demigod who stirs the entire mix into a supernatural stew.

The backdrop of this extraordinary journey is the beautiful and rugged Southwest, and as Teller's adventure grows more complex, he finds that nothing is as it seems, and that friends are sometimes found in the most unlikely of places.
