Joe Learns to Read: Reading

Joe struggles to read and all the children in his third grade class laugh at him. He has given up on learning to read and sleeps in class. His teacher, Miss May, never gives up on Joe. On his eighth birthday, Joe makes a wish that finally comes true. Many children can relate to Joe's story; they know exactly how Joe feels when others laugh at him and talk about him. This unique story is made from a list of Dolch Sight Words level PP through third grade level and a list of Dolch nouns. Children must master this list of words in order to read at the third grade level.
