Shanghaied as young man, Quinn was forced into servitude on a whaling ship in the 1800's. His ghost energy was discovered and channeled from an intricate piece of scrimshaw whalebone where his tells the story of his life. As he rose from the most menial of labors to bosun of the boat, Quinn learned about friendship, loss, cruelty, and compassion for the animals in a savage profession. Follow Quinn as he endures incredible hardships- storms, injuries, stowaways, cruel captains - and the majesty of the whale and other sea creatures.
