It is the true story of my dear friend and writing partner of over 20 years who was also one of our nation's leading forensic courtroom psychologists. Caught in the center of Twenty-First Century Sexual Politicking he eventually falls victim.

Dr. Belanger fought laws that simultaneously would be used to get politicians elected while turning much of a state mental hospital into a locked treatment center for violent sex offenders. This allowed the state government to divert mental health resources from sexual abuse victims and ordinary citizens alike, expand its prison-like capacities as a state, while proclaiming it was making everyone safer. When this doctor does not give the testimony that's wanted by the Governor, he himself is targeted. Taking a fall through Homeland Security Administration, he loses his job and his licenses. He is financially ruined, and is himself sentenced to a Federal prison.
