TREE of Life: Thought Pruning through Mindful Christian Meditation

A mind full of negative thoughts of sin, shame, and guilt can be overwhelming. Left unhealed, those thoughts and their effect on patterns of behavior can be debilitating. Reliving pain from the past, as a result of abuse and addiction, can cause emotional pain that can stifle spiritual growth. When you have lived through painful life experiences, finding inner harmony can be an everyday battle. But God! Through diligence and faithfulness, negative thoughts can be pruned and by engrafting the Word of God in their place, restoration of the soul and renewal of the mind can occur. Engrafting the Word of God is like planting a seed, which when placed in good soil, begins to bear fruit that blooms into pure thoughts of healing, stillness, and wholeness. Mindful Christian Meditation and engrafting the Word of God, allows the mind to find a peaceful place of solace and ultimately joy that flows into a plentiful river of beauty for ashes.
