More than ten years in the making, this critically acclaimed box set—originally published in 2011—features the earliest recordings of one of the most influential guitarists of the 1960s and ’70s, blues and folk pioneer John Fahey (1939–2001). The five CDs feature 115 tracks, most of which are available on CD for the first time, remastered from Fonotone owner Joe Bussard’s reel-to-reel tapes to achieve pristine sound quality.
