Ernest Thompson Seton was a writer, artist, and naturalist, who wrote and illustrated hundreds of scholarly and popular articles, stories, and more than forty books about wild animals. Through his words and his voice, he touched the hearts and minds of people all over the world, and inspired changing views towards the environment which resulted in the birth of the conservation movement of the early 20th century.
Canine Tails is a compilation of various short stories Seton penned about wolves, foxes, and coyotes. Included is perhaps his most famous story, Lobo - King of the Currumpaw, as well as Badlands Billy - The Wolf that Won, The Winnipeg Wolf, The Biography of a Silver Fox, Vixen - The Springfield Fox, Tito - The Story of the Coyote that Learned How, and The Cute Coyote.
Readers young and old will find themselves delighted by Seton's writings, and the vivid escapades of the animals he writes about. A must read for anyone who loves wild animals!
