The online Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines sermon as "a religious discourse delivered in public usually by a member of the clergy as a part of a worship service." Most people assume that a sermon is long and, hopefully, is Biblically based.
Each of these "sermons" are actually in the form of aphorisms, defined by the same dictionary as "a terse formulation of a truth or sentiment."
Each of the statements in this book express a thought regarding the Christian faith. They are designed to stimulate the reader's thinking or for meditation. Some of them comprise a beginning point for prayer. Included on each page is a picture from Yosemite National Park, known worldwide as one of God's masterpieces of creation.
