SKETCHY

Sketchy actually began about forty five years ago. It’s not that I’m such a slow writer. This is my story. I was teaching a sketch course for a Community College near where I lived. We went out each class day to different areas to sketch. Having taught watercolor in this area for many years, I was familiar with the wonderful sketchable old homes in this area. Each class day I did a demonstration sketch. The first fifteen sketches in my book are from this part of my life.

About a year ago when reviewing my very old sketch book, I decided to write a story around my sketches. When the previous drawings were utilized, I continued the story and then completed new sketches to compliment the balance of my story, thus “Sketchy” was born. I hope you will enjoy it!
