Time to change the outcome.

I'm Emery Kidd, daughter of a martyr and a regen-remember? Well, my perfect life changes drastically when I once again encounter Serafina Strong. The day before my wedding, no less. Obviously, the worst possible time a bride should meet her fiancée's knockout ex-lover. If my rival were not so arrogant, so provoking, I would be almost grateful for the adventure her impromptu visit heralds.

That all aside for the moment; you know that after the Progeny Project was instituted, many across the globe lost their jobs and their purpose-Sera among them. No one could have guessed, however, that there was another role for which the former Mediator would be as uniquely qualified. She did not know it herself until one after another extraordinary circumstance dealt her the gift of foresight. In essence, now, she can see the butterfly effect of change as it flutters along the timeline from the past into the distant future. Suffice it to say she recently learned the prospects for regenkind are looking rather dim. And thus, commences our adventure.

If we were not all divided at the onset of the mission by our very human, personal agendas, we might actually enjoy playing minor gods for a while. We will see. For myself, that perfectly boring life I mentioned earlier was starting to wear on my nerves, possibly more than Sera does.
