Every Dog Has Its Day is delightful children's picture book about a dog named Smiley with a problem. Smiley's owner, Greg was too busy with work to take him on more than a short stroll for exercise and fresh air. The yellow Labrador Retriever was getting out of shape and downright lazy with lying in his crate all day like a couch potato. One day, Greg's friend and dog walker, Ben surprised Smiley and took him to Bark in the Park. Smiley's wish to have his special day come true just might happen. He wants to do what he wants, when he wants and at his own pace. Smiley doesn't think it's too much to ask to be a King for a day.
