Nehemiah: Rebuilding Hope Our Lives and Our Nation is a fourteen-lesson study about the power of prayer and a nation's recommitment to God that changed everything in the lives of a broken and destitute people. It began with a man named Nehemiah, who was broken-hearted wept over the for the state of His people and nation. He prayed, fasted, repented and sought God. Then by Gods great grace and favor, he inspired a discouraged people to join him in rebuilding their nation.

The Book of Nehemiah speaks to our faith today, even though it was written almost 2500 years ago. It can inspire us in a time when the people of God are discouraged, when they are in trouble, embattled and even obstinate in the struggle with a culture conflicted with Gods ways. Nehemiah reminds us how Gods presence and power are with us and that He will guide us into rebuilding our spiritual lives and those of our around us. Today, just as he did for Nehemiah, God still calls us to prayer and trust and surrender. He longs to be the center of our lives. He desires to strengthen us with His power and presence so that we have the courage, fortitude and direction to work together to receive His healing and to rebuild the brokenness.
