Why Did Hashem Create Me?

Hashem made us all. We know that, but why?
Some think He was lonely in Heaven up high.
But Hashem did not make us for his entertainment,
Or to boss us around. That's not the arrangement.

Hashem's not a tyrant who needs servants who'll obey
To do certain things in just the right way.
He's not some super-being up in the sky
Watching us as the days go by.

Some people think that Hashem doesn't care,
That He forgot them, dislikes them, or is simply not there.
But Hashem isn't selfish, and that's a fact.
The truth is so very different from that.

The truth is that Hashem doesn't need anything.
Within Him exists absolutely everything!
Hashem created every single thing that exists!
From the galaxies and stars, to the knuckles on your fists.

We can't fully understand Hashem with our minds,
Because Hashem is beyond space and beyond time.

Hashem is perfect. Hashem is infinite.
Hashem does not have any limit.

So why did Hashem make you and me?
The truth is simple, as you will see.

Hashem didn't need to make us. He wanted to.
He wanted to make me, and He wanted to make you.

This was Hashem's only unfulfilled wish,
To give and to share all of His goodness.
That's why He made people, as an expression of love.
Every life, including yours, is a gift from above.

All Hashem ever wants to do is give,
And He gave you your life for you to live.

Life's a gift full of wonder, love, joy, and mystery!
And there's never been anyone like you in history!

Hashem created you to be just who you are,
One-of-a-kind! Made to shine, like a star!
Hashem chose you to be born. He chose when and where.
He gave you so many wonderful gifts you can share.

Your life, your good heart, gentle soul, and your dreams,
Are Hashem's gifts to the world, and to you and me.

You have goodness inside you. Look and you'll see.
Be happy with who Hashem made you to be.
You have something to offer the world, all your own,
Something no one else can give, just you alone.

That's what you're here on this earth to do,
To live your life, to just be you.

You were created to live, love, and play.
Go ahead and enjoy every single day!

Hashem's message is simple: your life is a gift!
And Hashem gave it to you!
Love yourself. Love your life. Share your gifts with all of us.

Don't worry if you make mistakes on the way.
Everyone does. It will all be okay.

When life feels hard, you mustn't be led
By some of the thoughts that pop into your head,
The ones that tell you, "You're not enough."
Hashem always wants you to show yourself love.

While you smile or you cry, while you work or you play,
You should love yourself every single day.

Even when you don't win, even when you mess up,
You are never, never, ever unworthy of love.

Please remember this important thing,
Through whatever life will bring:
You are loveable now and will be forever.
Please don't forget that, never, never.

You don't have to do anything to earn love.
You are already lovable. You're a gift from above.
You were chosen specifically by Hashem
To be who you are. You cannot be flawed.

When Hashem breathed your soul into your body and heart,
He put Himself in there, in part.
Take a look and you will find,
He made your heart good, pure and kind.

Hashem put you in the world to shine your unique light.
Shine it in on yourself! And shine it out, bright!

Hashem wants you to know how amazing you are.
This is the most important thing, by far.

Take care of yourself. Don't give me a "But..."
Hashem wants you to love yourself, no matter what.

When you love yourself, your light shines bright!
So shine every day and shine every night!

You are a gift. Don't forget it. It's true.
That's why Hashem created YOU.
