Lifeforce is about a witch named Gillian Cassidy, who, after losing her mother at age 16, passes to the care of a vampire who happened to be her mother’s best friend. Her mother’s death shakes her confidence and impacts her opinion regarding immortality. But her opinion does not change until she does something foolish—she makes sure her first love will never be taken away from her, like her mother had been.
