Captain Takes a Vacation!

Captain Takes a Vacation! is the second in a series of beginning reader books for children about Captain, a 160 pound Newfoundland dog, who has fun on vacation at the beach before getting ready for school. On his first day of school, Captain wonders if he will make friends. The Captain books are created to encourage children to read aloud. Used at home and at school, children who struggle to read will read aloud to Captain, a certified therapy and reading education assistance dog.
