The Self-Awareness Calendar 2018 / Version for Children is meant to be fun and to help you keep a little record for your own personal memories. At some point you will realize how fast time passes and how little we remember. Paper has the purpose to help us remember.

Use the Children's Version for as long as you feel a child and move to the Adults' Version when you think it's right for you.

Dear Parents,

If we want to start at the very beginning of a child's life, then how about we also include the pregnancy?
You as the adults may decide to start keeping the Child's Calendar as soon as you find out about the pregnancy and continue after the baby's birth for as long as the baby is not yet old enough to know about time.
These are just two suggestions to consider in case you find them valuable in your own context.

On the other hand, you may start using the Children's Version when your child is aware of time and all that it implies.
If your child is too young to read and write independently, maybe you agree to accompany them on their journey through time.
