~40 DAYS to Reflection and Peace is a road map for readers to consider their core values and find peace in a chaotic world. Each day of reading offers humor and insights about life that will cause readers to think twice about their own values, priorities, and lives. 40 Days makes the discipline of daily reflection enjoyable and will energize busy professionals, organizational leaders, and anyone who values faith, family, and work. Art Sathoff grew up in small town Iowa valuing faith, family, and hard work. These remain core values of the Sathoffs to this day. Art graduated from Iowa Falls High
School in 1984 and went on to study

He earned an M.A. in English Literature at the University of Northern Iowa in 1993 and principal's certification,
followed by an Ed.S. degree from Drake University in 2004.
In 2009 he finished the licensed minister's program through the Christian Church of the Upper Midwest. Currently he serves as superintendent for Fairfield Community School
District and pastor at Fairfield First Christian Church.
He lives in Fairfield with his wife of 24 years, Cindy. Cindy and Art have two sons: Jordan, who works in the investment field, and Trey, who is in college. Art has been employed in public education in a variety of roles for 26 years.
