Transnational Socialist Networks in the 1970s: European Community Development Aid and Southern Enlargement

This book addresses the impact that transnational cooperation of political parties has on European politics and policy-making. Looking specifically at western European socialist parties, it argues that transnational party cooperation through informal networks was an important factor in the emerging European governance system in the 1970s.
