Traitt De Politique

Traitte de Politique contains three manuscript copies of Rene Louis d'Argenson's major political work Considerations Sur le Gouvernement Ancien et Present de la France published in 1764 and 1765. These manuscript copies were written and revised over a period from the 1720's to the 1750's. D'Argenson's work was admired by Jean Jacques Rousseau and other Philosophes in the 18th C.
