Asian Perspectives on International Security

This volume of essays has been conceived on the belief that there is a continuing need to air, and thus, it is hoped, understand better, Asian perspectives of the world, and in particular of the crucial issues related to contemporary international security. It is further felt that the scholars treating these perspectives should not merely identify and describe them, but should also dissect and analyse these views so as to discover what factors have shaped them and will probably continue to do so in the future.
