The European Armaments Market and Procurement Cooperation

Looking at the attempts by West Europeans at cooperation in defense procurement, this book analyzes where and why these attempts have succeeded or failed, and examines the political, economic and industrial pressures for and against such cooperation. In addition to the general analysis, there are specific case-studies in different military sectors: battlefield communications, fighter aircraft, and combat helicopters.
