Turbulence and New Directions in Global Political Economy

In 11 papers selected from a July 2001 conference at Simon Fraser University in Canada, both established and younger political scientists in North America and Britain rethink the field of political economy in light of changes brought about by globalization. The unifying theme of turbulence reflects overlap and interaction between disciplines, regions, classes, sectors, and of course between politics and economics.
