This is Gene Stratton Porter’s 1910 book, "Music Of The Wild". Gene Stratton-Porter (1863 - 1924) was an American author, naturalist, photographer, and one of the first women to start a movie production company. She published a number of best-selling novels and maintained popular columns in national magazines, including McCalls.
