Common Sense Applied to Religion

Beecher (1800-78) was an American educator known for her forthright opinions on female eduction. She was also the sister of Harriet Beecher Stowe, the author of Uncle Tom's Cabin. This book first published in 1857 contains many striking departures from the Cavinistic theology.
