Bury (1775-1861) was an English novelist who is best remembered for her work entitled Diary Illustrative of the Times of George IV (1838) which drew upon her experiences at court when acting as Lady-in-Waiting to the Princess of Wales, later Queen Caroline. First published in 1830, this was one of a number of romantic novels she wrote which were popular in their day.
