When Taffy's family is sent to a small coastal town, he is thrust into the path of Squire Moyle, an evil and spiteful man looking for forgiveness from God. It's why Taffy's family is in that town in the first place. Taffy's father is the Reverend. As Taffy grows up in that town, he begins to have feelings for Squire Moyle's ward, Honoria. Will Squire Moyle find forgiveness and allow others to have a happy life? Or will he be spiteful until his death?
