Jackson synthesize the work of American educational theorist Dewey (1859-1952) for the benefit of administrators, teachers, board members, policymakers, caregivers, and other interested parties. A major goal is to counter the laws, practices, and practices emanating from social, political, and educational strongholds that promote the myth that teaching is simple, predictable, and easy.
