Word Family Stories for Reading Comprehension Grades K-1

Introduce children to reading with very short, illustrated stories. Two or more words from the same word family are used in each story, and they are underlined as clues for the beginning reader. Following each story are two multiple choice questions that reinforce comprehension as well as a simple writing exercise.
