Kevin Garnett

Kevin Maurice Garnett was born to play basketball. Growing up poor in Mauldin, South Carolina, Kevin faced and overcame adversity from the time he was very young. His parents never married, and his stepfather Ernest Irby did not support Kevin's love for basketball. But Kevin developed into a star high school basketball player in South Carolina and Chicago, where he played during his senior year.
