Magic, warfare, betrayal: watch your back!

Cedric, who was orphaned at the age of seven because of a terrible fire, travels with his small band of friends, seeking to become a valiant knight. But when they enter the small town of Maridia, where Cedric has a disturbing premonition, the group has no idea what is in store for them. Hopes of becoming a knight are shattered when Cedric and his friends find the Knights' Council dead. After having his dream crushed, Cedric and his friends travel into the dark unknown.
