When WBFD-TV’s newest anchor‚ Aspen Wicklow‚ misses her debut broadcast and ends up in jail‚ she’s assigned an unpleasant job — find out whether midnight screams coming from local landmark Kirk House are an urban legend‚ or something far more sinister. While visiting the burned-out shell‚ Aspen encounters a young Goth girl known as Paper Cut. Later‚ Paper Cut admits to being an undercover cop and it’s her job is to find out who murdered a pregnant Goth girl and removed the near-term infant from her dead body. Connecting the dots between these victims and Kirk House leads Aspen into a life-and-death situation more frightening than anything she could imagine.
