Shortly after arriving in Australia Dr Tam Lawrence falls ill with an ectopic pregnancy. An operation leaves her unable to have children and so she breaks off her relationship with Dr Matt Nelson in the UK without telling him why. When she returns to the UK things are cool between them - but then Tam is called out to a motorcycle accident. Believing the badly injured rider is Matt, she can no longer deny her feelings for him...
