Lexie Brookes is busy running her hairdressing salon and wondering what to do about her cooling relationship with her partner, Danny. When the jewellery shop next door is broken into via her own premises, the owner - the wealthy and infuriatingly arrogant Bruno Cavendish - blames her for his losses.
