This antiquarian book contains Edward William Lane’s famed dictionary; 'An Arabic-English Lexicon'. It is an Arabic–English dictionary, entirely collated by Edward William Lane, and published in eight volumes during the latter half of the nineteenth century. It contains a vast list of Arabic words with definitions and explanations in English. Edward William Lane (1801 - 1876) was a British Orientalist, translator and lexicographer, best known for his translation of 'One Thousand and One Nights'.
