Historically, interactions between academic researchers, research funders, and research users interested in social policy interventions in ethnic relations have been tenuous if even existent. With this unique book, the contributors seek to develop a dialogue about the internal constraints that have an impact on this field of practice and to kick-start a wider debate within the research community. They aim to produce a renewed awareness of the current linkages between research and social policy in ethnic relations amongst students of the social sciences and social policy.
