Your Garden Week By Week

This book sets out to provide something more than a calendar of operations. Week by week I have tried to show not only what must be done but also the best way in which to do it. The volume is intended primarily for beginners, and so I have not included stove plants and the more uncommon vegetables usually grown only by connoisseurs. The book is divided into twelve monthly sections each of which is further split into five sub-sections under the headings General Work, First Week, Second Week, Third Week, and Fourth Week. The first of these sub-sections contains all those tasks which cannot be referred to any particular week but must be spread more or less continuously throughout the month. In the other four sections the remaining work is more precisely allocated.
