This early work is the ninth Land of Oz book written by Baum and charts the adventures of Cap’n Bill, Trot and Scarecrow in their battle against King Krewl of Jinxland. Illustrated with the beautiful black and white Art Nouveau drawings of John R. Neill. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive.
