MASTER SHEPHERD

Jesus said that He knows His sheep by name. He says we are like sheep gone astray. Master Shepherd takes Sallman’s familiar scene and given the sheep imaginary lives and situations similar to what we may encounter on our earthly journey. The answers He gives and the great love and forgiveness He bestows are found for us in Scripture. So look and identify faithful Seth, angry Mitch, abused Bonnie, proud Herman, and busy Irma. Mourn with Sue, care like Tabatha.

There are many more kinds of sheep we might identify with or know. We certainly are not sheep, but we need the presence, love, forgiveness and grace He promised to us. Believe!
